On-Site School Cook

Description of role:

We are currently seeking candidates for an On-site School Cook position. As a candidate, you must be able to effeciently prepare snacks, hot lunches and shopping many young children per day, while maintainning a safe and clean environment & be able to cover in-classroom breaks for the teachers during the children's playground and/or sleeping time.  You possess or are willing to obtain First Aid and CPR-C Certification, Criminal Reference Check and are 19 years of age minimum to meet childcare laws in Ontario.   You must be patient, loving, organized, will uphold the. You are willing to learn and support the Montessori Method of Teaching that governs our great programs everyday. Training and support to learn Authentic Montessori Principals and current Early Child Care and Learning Laws will be available to successful candidates that demonstrate their commitment.  Assets you could contribute to this role are: you currently hold a RECE diploma, have experience working with children from 16 months to 6 years of age in a home-care or daycare environment, you may be musical or bilingual and would be willing to teach the children alternate language, voice, piano, or another insturment in a professional way toward an age appropriate goal.

AMI/TMI Montessori Teacher

Description of role:

We are currently seeking both Casa and Toddler Montessori teachers. You must be passionate about the Montessori Teachings, patient, professional within a school environment and organized with your space and tasks.  You love to work for and toward the children's best development and interests. RECE  Teaching Assistant - FT/PT/Sub

Description of role:

We are currently seeking candidates for RECE position(s). As a candidate, you must hold an Early Childhood Education Diploma, First Aid and CPR Certification, Criminal Reference Check and have a minimum 3 years of experience working with children from 16 months to 6 years of age in a professional childcare environment. You must be patient, loving, organized, will uphold the current Early Child Care and Learning Laws. You are willing to learn and support the Montessori Method of Teaching that governs our great programs everyday. Training and support to learn Authentic Montessori Principals will be available to successful candidates that demonstrate their love for the children and their willingness to support each child's individual development potential everyday.  Assets you could contribute to this role are you are bilingual and willing to teach the children your native language and culture.  You may be musical and could teach the children voice, piano, or another insturment in a professional way toward an age appropriate goal.

French or Spanish Teacher

Description of role:

We are currently seeking an Individual that would love to teach young children French or Spanish Language in our school classroom. Approximately 6-8 hours per week. Presented as an immersive / conversational experience for the children. This position is a part-time scheduled position where you would speak in French or Spanish during your time with the children.  Currently this is position is two days per week for 3 hours of duration each day. 2 hours  with Toddlers and 1 hour with Casa (Preschool) age groups per day.  However, timing and duration could be flexible.  Candidates must possess a clear Vulnerable Sector Check and immunizations including TB before they would begiin teaching.  Personal assets to this position:include current First Aide/CPR-Level C to work with children in Ontario.  If you are also musically inclined, piano and/or voice along with you bilingualism can lead to more teaching opportunity here!  All Candidates must be reliable, trustworthy and caring toward all children.  You must interact and be able to manage small groups of children safely and with confidence.
